Maybe these words will be useful:
- nominal — being such in name only; so-called; putative: a nominal treaty; the nominal head of the country.
- nominal aphasia — aphasia in which the primary symptom is an inability to recall or recognize the names of objects
- nominal par — an equality in value or standing; a level of equality: The gains and the losses are on a par.
- nominal scale — a discrete classification of data, in which data are neither measured nor ordered but subjects are merely allocated to distinct categories: for example, a record of students' course choices constitutes nominal data which could be correlated with school results
- nominal sentence — a sentence consisting of a subject and complement without a linking verb, as Very interesting, those books.
- nominal value — book or par value, as of securities; face value.
- nominal wages — minimum pay
- nominalise — to convert (another part of speech) into a noun, as in changing the adjective lowly into the lowly or the verb legalize into legalization.
- nominalism — (in medieval philosophy) the doctrine that general or abstract words do not stand for objectively existing entities and that universals are no more than names assigned to them. Compare conceptualism, realism (def 5a).
