  • point — a fraction whose denominator is some power of 10, usually indicated by a dot (decimal point or point) written before the numerator: as 0.4 = 4/10; 0.126 = 126/1000.
  • suggest — to mention or introduce (an idea, proposition, plan, etc.) for consideration or possible action: The architect suggested that the building be restored.
  • intimate — associated in close personal relations: an intimate friend.
  • advert — An advert is an announcement in a newspaper, on television, or on a poster about something such as a product, event, or job.
