  • abuttalabuttals. those parts of one piece of land that abut on adjacent lands; boundaries. Also, buttals. Law. the boundary lines of a piece of land in relation to adjacent lands.
  • circle — A circle is a shape consisting of a curved line completely surrounding an area. Every part of the line is the same distance from the centre of the area.
  • disc — any thin, flat, circular plate or object.
  • abuttals — the boundaries of a plot of land where it abuts against other property
  • berm — a narrow path or ledge at the edge of a slope, road, or canal

  • border — The border between two countries or regions is the dividing line between them. Sometimes the border also refers to the land close to this line.
  • cirque — a semicircular or crescent-shaped basin with steep sides and a gently sloping floor formed in mountainous regions by the erosive action of a glacier
  • cordon — A cordon is a line or ring of police, soldiers, or vehicles preventing people from entering or leaving an area.
  • limit — the final, utmost, or furthest boundary or point as to extent, amount, continuance, procedure, etc.: the limit of his experience; the limit of vision.

  • loin — Usually, loins. the part or parts of the human body or of a quadruped animal on either side of the spinal column, between the false ribs and hipbone.
  • zodiac — an imaginary belt of the heavens, extending about 8° on each side of the ecliptic, within which are the apparent paths of the sun, moon, and principal planets. It contains twelve constellations and hence twelve divisions called signs of the zodiac.
