perspective — a technique of depicting volumes and spatial relationships on a flat surface. Compare aerial perspective, linear perspective.
position — condition with reference to place; location; situation.
standpoint — the point or place at which a person stands to view something.
anschauung — direct or immediate intuition or perception of sense data with little or no rational interpretation.
frame of reference — a structure of concepts, values, customs, views, etc., by means of which an individual or group perceives or evaluates data, communicates ideas, and regulates behavior.
slant — to veer or angle away from a given level or line, especially from a horizontal; slope.
eye — Each of a pair of globular organs in the head through which people and vertebrate animals see, the visible part typically appearing almond-shaped in animals with eyelids.
