- indicator — a person or thing that indicates.
- ratio — the relation between two similar magnitudes with respect to the number of times the first contains the second: the ratio of 5 to 2, written 5:2 or 5/2.
- basis — If something is done on a particular basis, it is done according to that method, system, or principle.
- symbol — something used for or regarded as representing something else; a material object representing something, often something immaterial; emblem, token, or sign.
