crisis β A crisis is a situation in which something or someone is affected by one or more very serious problems.

accident β An accident happens when a vehicle hits a person, an object, or another vehicle, causing injury or damage.
crunch β If you crunch something hard, such as a sweet, you crush it noisily between your teeth.
necessity β something necessary or indispensable: food, shelter, and other necessities of life.
hole β an opening through something; gap; aperture: a hole in the roof; a hole in my sock.
impasse β a position or situation from which there is no escape; deadlock.
juncture β a point of time, especially one made critical or important by a concurrence of circumstances: At this juncture, we must decide whether to stay or to walk out.
pressure β the exertion of force upon a surface by an object, fluid, etc., in contact with it: the pressure of earth against a wall.
push β to press upon or against (a thing) with force in order to move it away.
quandary β a state of perplexity or uncertainty, especially as to what to do; dilemma.
scrape β to deprive of or free from an outer layer, adhering matter, etc., or to smooth by drawing or rubbing something, especially a sharp or rough instrument, over the surface: to scrape a table to remove paint and varnish.
