garnish — to provide or supply with something ornamental; adorn; decorate.

magnify — to increase the apparent size of, as a lens does.
ornament — an accessory, article, or detail used to beautify the appearance of something to which it is added or of which it is a part: architectural ornaments.
trim — to put into a neat or orderly condition by clipping, paring, pruning, etc.: to trim a hedge.
fix up — Informal. a position from which it is difficult to escape; predicament.
gussy up — to enhance the attractiveness of in a gimmicky, showy manner (usually followed by up): a room gussied up with mirrors and lights.
spruce up — trim in dress or appearance; neat; smart; dapper.
