bazaar — In areas such as the Middle East and India, a bazaar is a place where there are many small shops and stalls.
bodega — a shop selling wine and sometimes groceries, esp in a Spanish-speaking country

department store — A department store is a large shop which sells many different kinds of goods.
drugstore — the place of business of a druggist, usually also selling cosmetics, stationery, toothpaste, mouthwash, cigarettes, etc., and sometimes soft drinks and light meals.
fair — free from bias, dishonesty, or injustice: a fair decision; a fair judge.
general store — a store, usually in a rural area, that sells a wide variety of merchandise, as clothing, food, or hardware, but is not divided into departments.
mall — Also called shopping mall. a large retail complex containing a variety of stores and often restaurants and other business establishments housed in a series of connected or adjacent buildings or in a single large building. Compare shopping center.
square — a rectangle having all four sides of equal length.
stall — a pretext, as a ruse, trick, or the like, used to delay or deceive.
stock exchange — a building or place where stocks and other securities are bought and sold.
store — an establishment where merchandise is sold, usually on a retail basis.
supermarket — a large retail market that sells food and other household goods and that is usually operated on a self-service basis.
trading post — a store established in an unsettled or thinly settled region by a trader or trading company to obtain furs and local products in exchange for supplies, clothing, other goods, or for cash.
