  • sympathetic — characterized by, proceeding from, exhibiting, or feeling sympathy; sympathizing; compassionate: a sympathetic listener.
  • unjust — not just; lacking in justice or fairness: unjust criticism; an unjust ruler.
  • biased — If someone is biased, they prefer one group of people to another, and behave unfairly as a result. You can also say that a process or system is biased.
  • sectarian — of or relating to sectaries or sects.
  • one-sided — considering but one side of a matter or question; partial or unfair: a one-sided judgment.

  • adhering — to stay attached; stick fast; cleave; cling (usually followed by to): The mud adhered to his shoes.
  • cliquish — If you describe a group of people or their behavior as cliquish, you mean they spend their time only with other members of the group and seem unfriendly towards people who are not in the group.
  • conspiratorial — If someone does something such as speak or smile in a conspiratorial way, they do it in a way that suggests they are sharing a secret with someone.
  • overzealous — too zealous: overzealous for reform.
