moved — to pass from one place or position to another.
paced — having a specified or indicated pace (usually used in combination): fast-paced.
patrolled — (of a police officer, soldier, etc.) to pass along a road, beat, etc., or around or through a specified area in order to maintain order and security.
pounded — Archaic. to shut up in or as in a pound; impound; imprison.
proceeded — to move or go forward or onward, especially after stopping.
progressed — a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage: the progress of a student toward a degree.
ranged — working or grazing on a range: range horses; range animals like steer and sheep.
stepped — a movement made by lifting the foot and setting it down again in a new position, accompanied by a shifting of the weight of the body in the direction of the new position, as in walking, running, or dancing.
