slammed — a violent and noisy closing, dashing, or impact.
barricaded — a defensive barrier hastily constructed, as in a street, to stop an enemy.
blockaded — the isolating, closing off, or surrounding of a place, as a port, harbor, or city, by hostile ships or troops to prevent entrance or exit.
closed — A closed group of people does not welcome new people or ideas from outside.
fenced — a barrier enclosing or bordering a field, yard, etc., usually made of posts and wire or wood, used to prevent entrance, to confine, or to mark a boundary.
jammed — to press, squeeze, or wedge tightly between bodies or surfaces, so that motion or extrication is made difficult or impossible: The ship was jammed between two rocks.
latched — a device for holding a door, gate, or the like, closed, consisting basically of a bar falling or sliding into a catch, groove, hole, etc.
trammeled — Usually, trammels. a hindrance or impediment to free action; restraint: the trammels of custom.
