  • cincture — something that encircles or surrounds, esp a belt, girdle, or border
  • corset — A corset is a stiff piece of underwear worn by some women, especially in the past. It fits tightly around their hips and waist and makes them thinner around the waist when they wear it.
  • girdle — a lightweight undergarment, worn especially by women, often partly or entirely of elastic or boned, for supporting and giving a slimmer appearance to the abdomen, hips, and buttocks.
  • frame — a border or case for enclosing a picture, mirror, etc.

  • lucarne — a dormer window.
  • mullioned — a vertical member, as of stone or wood, between the lights of a window, the panels in wainscoting, or the like.
  • picture window — a large window in a house, usually dominating the room or wall in which it is located, and often designed or placed to present an attractive view.
  • rose window — a circular window decorated with tracery symmetrical about the center.
  • band — A band is a small group of musicians who play popular music such as jazz, rock, or pop.
