  • nonbeliever — a person who lacks belief or faith, as in God, a religion, an idea, or an undertaking.
  • skeptic — a person who questions the validity or authenticity of something purporting to be factual.
  • pagan — (no longer in technical use) one of a people or community observing a polytheistic religion, as the ancient Romans and Greeks.
  • agnostic — An agnostic believes that it is not possible to know whether God exists or not. Compare atheist.
