  • saviour — a person who saves, rescues, or delivers: the savior of the country.
  • bleeding heart — If you describe someone as a bleeding heart, you are criticizing them for being sympathetic towards people who are poor and suffering, without doing anything practical to help.
  • donator — to present as a gift, grant, or contribution; make a donation of, as to a fund or cause: to donate used clothes to the Salvation Army.
  • heavy hitter — a baseball player who makes many extra-base hits.
