One-syllable rhymes
- scoured — to range over, as in a search: They scoured the countryside for the lost child.
- soured — having an acid taste, resembling that of vinegar, lemon juice, etc.; tart.
Two-syllable rhymes

- underpowered — (of a machine, vehicle, etc.) having a specified fuel or prime mover: a gasoline-powered engine; an engine-powered pump.
