porting — Military. the position of a rifle or other weapon when ported.
snorting — (of animals) to force the breath violently through the nostrils with a loud, harsh sound: The spirited horse snorted and shied at the train.
sorting — a particular kind, species, variety, class, or group, distinguished by a common character or nature: to develop a new sort of painting; nice people, of course, but not really our sort.
sporting — of, relating to, or used in sports or a particular sport: sport fishing.

purporting — to present, especially deliberately, the appearance of being; profess or claim, often falsely: a document purporting to be official.
reporting — an account or statement describing in detail an event, situation, or the like, usually as the result of observation, inquiry, etc.: a report on the peace conference; a medical report on the patient.
resorting — to sort or arrange (cards, papers, etc.) again.
supporting — to bear or hold up (a load, mass, structure, part, etc.); serve as a foundation for.
