advance — To advance means to move forward, often in order to attack someone.

help — to give or provide what is necessary to accomplish a task or satisfy a need; contribute strength or means to; render assistance to; cooperate effectively with; aid; assist: He planned to help me with my work. Let me help you with those packages.
increase — to make greater, as in number, size, strength, or quality; augment; add to: to increase taxes.
indulge — to yield to an inclination or desire; allow oneself to follow one's will (often followed by in): Dessert came, but I didn't indulge. They indulged in unbelievable shopping sprees.
